Planned closures
We're always working to improve the botanic gardens, so occasionally we have to close some features.
- Please check back before you visit.
- Ness Botanic Gardens will close at 4pm on Friday 20 December 2024 and re-open at 10am on Wednesday 1 January 2025.
Bad weather closures
The gardens will be closed (to staff, visitors and members) if wind speeds are forecast to be 50 mph or more, due to the large number of trees on site.
The gardens may also have to close on occasion due to snow, ice or excessively high temperatures.
